Hello, I am Judi Hewitt, a certified Independent Celebrant since 2018, based in beautiful Bedfordshire, right on the Hertfordshire and Buckinghamshire borders.
After 28 years in the Corporate World, I decided to take a new career path….

Life for me began in Letchworth, the first Garden City, an only child born into a loving family, a place where community spirit, green spaces and simple kindness shaped the values I live by today: compassion, fun, and a strong work ethic.
My husband Simon is my favourite travel companion and together we are working our way through a long list of places to explore, so far we have visited America, Europe, Scandinavia, Sydney and New Zealand.
At home, I’m equally content with a cup of tea, something sweet, and a good book, film or TV show. I enjoy walking, playing badminton and listening to the soundtrack of my 80s youth. And because joy matters, I still lean into my inner child with my love of Disney and lifelong affection for teddy bears.
Being a celebrant feels like the most natural extension of who I am. Whether I am creating a ceremony full of joy or holding space for a family during a difficult time, I am always guided by empathy, love and a genuine desire to honour each person’s story.
I also bring a sense of adventure, fun and creativity, always open to new ideas and new ways of telling your story. My role is to shape all of this into a ceremony that feels personal, honest and memorable.
